Term & Condition

By making a reservation, payment, or taking part in a trip with Komodo Real Journey, participants are deemed to have read and agreed to all of the following terms and conditions:

1. BOOKING & RESERVATION

Booking Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed once the participant has made the required deposit payment (DP) as stated on the invoice.

Komodo Real Journey reserves the right to release any reservation if payment is not received within the specified deadline.

Participant Information

Participants are required to provide:

  1. Full Name
  2. Active WhatsApp Number
  3. ID Card (KTP) or Passport
  4. Flight Details (if applicable)

Any errors or inaccuracies in the information provided shall be the sole responsibility of the participant.

Down Payment (Deposit)

A minimum deposit of 30%–50% of the total booking value is required.

The deposit is non-refundable, as it is used to secure reservations for boats, transportation, guides, accommodations, entrance fees, and other travel arrangements.

Final Payment

The remaining balance must be paid no later than 7 days prior to departure.

For last-minute bookings made within 7 days of departure, full payment (100%) is required at the time of booking.

Late Payment

If the final payment is not completed within the specified timeframe, Komodo Real Journey reserves the right to cancel the reservation without refunding the deposit.

Cancellation by Participant

30 Days or More Before Departure

Deposit forfeited.

14–29 Days Before Departure

50% of the total tour cost will be forfeited.

7–13 Days Before Departure

75% of the total tour cost will be forfeited.

Less Than 7 Days Before Departure

100% of the total tour cost will be forfeited.

No Show

Participants who fail to arrive on the departure date will be considered as having canceled their trip and will not be entitled to any refund.

Date changes may only be requested up to 14 days prior to departure.

Rescheduling is permitted only once and is subject to availability.

Any additional costs resulting from increases in hotel rates, boat charter fees, entrance fees, transportation costs, or other supplier charges shall be borne by the participant.

The safety of all participants is our highest priority.

Komodo Real Journey reserves the right to modify:

  1. Destination sequence
  2. Departure schedule
  3. Type of vessel
  4. Specific activities

when deemed necessary due to:

  1. Adverse weather conditions
  2. High waves or rough seas
  3. Harbor Master (Syahbandar) instructions
  4. Komodo National Park regulations
  5. Other safety-related considerations

Such adjustments shall not constitute grounds for cancellation or refund claims.

Komodo Real Journey shall not be held liable for any loss, delay, cancellation, or disruption caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  1. Natural disasters
  2. Extreme weather conditions
  3. Earthquakes
  4. Floods
  5. Fires
  6. Pandemics
  7. Airport closures
  8. Port closures
  9. Government regulations or restrictions
  10. Any other force majeure events

Participants are required to:

✓ Arrive on time for all scheduled activities

✓ Follow instructions provided by guides and crew members

✓ Safeguard their personal belongings

✓ Maintain cleanliness at all destinations visited

✓ Comply with all regulations of Komodo National Park

Komodo Real Journey reserves the right to terminate a participant’s tour without refund if the participant:

  1. Is under the excessive influence of alcohol
  2. Uses illegal drugs or narcotics
  3. Disrupts other participants
  4. Endangers the safety of the tour or other participants

 

Komodo Real Journey acts as a tour organizer and collaborates with various third-party service providers, including boat operators, hotels, transportation companies, restaurants, and other suppliers.

Komodo Real Journey shall not be liable for:

  1. Loss or theft of personal belongings
  2. Flight delays or cancellations
  3. Failure of participants to arrive on time
  4. Acts or omissions of third parties
  5. Accidents or injuries resulting from participant negligence

Participants grant Komodo Real Journey permission to use photographs and videos taken during the trip for promotional purposes, including but not limited to:

  1. Social media content
  2. Website publications
  3. Marketing materials
  4. Advertising campaigns

Participants who do not wish to be featured must notify Komodo Real Journey in writing before the tour commences.

Package prices are subject to change at any time prior to the payment of the deposit.

Once the deposit has been received and the booking has been confirmed, the agreed package price will remain fixed unless additional services or requests are made by the participant.
